For the renewal of the sonorisation installation at Leuven station, Infrabel chose Active Audio loudspeakers. The existing sonorisation installation with loudspeakers was end-of-life. On all platforms, the existing sound system was replaced by no fewer than 64 Active Audio StepArray SA180S loudspeakers.
StepArray loudspeakers from Active Audio are known for loudspeakers with optimal intelligibility and acoustic comfort. The speaker is unique due to its digitally controlled beam steering. These speakers are available in different lengths and RAL colours of your choice to suit all kinds of applications. At Leuven railway station, the choice was made to connect two SA180S each and place them horizontally in the RAL colour of the station's existing colour theme.
