UM210
Line array speaker
The UM210 line array speaker features 3 acoustic channels and operates in bi-amplification mode.
The LO section includes two 10‘ speakers, while the HI section includes a 6.5’ speaker and a 1" compression driver.
This line array speaker has features suited to the architecture of concert halls or outdoor stage configurations.
On the UM210, low frequencies are reproduced by two 10" drivers positioned behind a radiation optimisation piece that has three functions:
it creates a load on the woofers, thereby increasing their efficiency, and optimises the low-frequency coupling between the different drivers that make up the speaker.
In addition, it acts as a horn extension for mid and high frequencies. Its shape, calculated by BEM, ensures minimal diffraction for these frequencies.
The mid and high frequency sections are handled by a coaxial assembly consisting of two separate speakers.
A 6.5‘ midrange speaker with a 1’ compression driver installed at the bottom.
The electro-acoustic assembly is loaded by an innovative, patent-pending phase alignment device, SIGMA, which optimises the radiation pattern and coupling between adjacent speakers.
